Hello and welcome!

Hello and welcome to my new website which I have sat and had fun making this weekend. I'll be updating it regularly. Meanwhile, I have lots to keep me out of mischief. This year, I will be releasing two completely solo albums and a book of my compositions. The first album, VIRR, is an album of completely solo improvisations on viola and fiddle & is due out in the autumn on Eighth Nerve Audio.

I'm very excited as I just found out that I have been awarded the TONO stipend this year to write a 45-minute piece for fiddle and string quartet. I will take elements of Scottish and Norwegian traditional musics and place them in a more contemporary music context. Watch this space!
